Preparation of the parts.

We start from boards which we cut at the good size
to obtain the parts which we will work

Preparation of wood to carry out the phalanges and the tenons of the fingers.

We take the falls of wood whichare not used for the realization of the palms to make  the stick which we will be used for to turn the phalange and the tenons.
In this way, we reduce to the maximum the waste wood.

Turning with an automatic turn.

Turning of a rolling pin.
We start from a square wood, sawn with the length wanted for carried out this roller.
The tools follow a gauge having the desired form.

Preparation of the phalanges.

We realize, with a special bit, a drilling on all the phalanges and the articulated fingers at the base so that the fingers can yield.
This operation is done manually for each part.

Drilling of the palms.

The palms are drilled to be able to place the fingers.
This operation is done manually, without a gauge for marked the site of the fingers.
This operation is done with the eye, it's the experience which make it possible to make the operaition the most exact possible.

Turning of the phalanges

Realization of one phalange using a cut off turn.
This operation is done manually using tools of form.
This operation is done for the smallest parts which are used to carry out the fingers.

Turning of the phalanges.

Realization of a point of a fingers using an automatic cut off turn.
Only certain operations of preparation of the parts being used to carry out the phalanges and tenon sare made using a cut oof turn or a copying turn.
The other operations are carried out manually.

Drilling of the phalanges and the fingers.

A tenon is placed in the phalange to be able to assemble them together to make a finger.
Those are assembled using a screw.
For that, all the phalanges are drilled manually one by one to prepare the installation of this screw.
